My Story

Hi, I’m Morgen Backus—a clinically trained nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition.

I help women heal from the inside out using a personalized, science-backed approach rooted in both evidence-based nutrition and holistic wellness.

My passion for health has always been strong, but my real healing journey began out of necessity.

In college, I was diagnosed with IBS and struggled with chronic acne. Medications offered temporary relief at best, often with frustrating side effects. As a broke student, I couldn’t afford to rely on prescriptions long-term, so I turned to food and began digging into the connection between nutrition and gut health. What I found changed my life.

Through intentional changes to my diet, lifestyle, and the use of plant medicine, I was able to fully heal my body, naturally. I’ve continued to support my health that way ever since.

Now, I help other women do the same.

In my private practice and as a full-time dietitian in group home and residential settings, I support women in addressing the root causes of their symptoms. Whether it’s hormone imbalance, digestive issues, or low energy, and guide them toward long-term wellness with strategies that feel nourishing and sustainable.

My approach goes beyond “what to do” and I focus on why it works, so you can feel confident in your choices and connected to your body again.
